We got a FREE hotel room up in West Yellowstone and it was going to expire so we decided to use it last weekend. Well Corbett warned me that everything was going to be closed. Well I didn't think that about 90% of the little shops would be closed, but they were. oops. Well we had fun anyways.
See how dead it is I have never been up there in March and won't be back in the off season anytime soon. Bentley liked walking around and trying to splash in all the puddles.
We stayed at the Brandin Iron Inn which was okay but some jerk set our room alarm clock for midnight. So we are all sound asleep only to be woken by the loudest alarm clock I have ever heard. Corbett leans over and starts beating the thing it would not go off so finally he unplugs it from the wall. Thankfully little bent stayed asleep, but Corbett and I were wide awake both of our hearts racing cursing the jerk that did it. Then the wind picked up. There was a crack under the front door and it sounded like we had a ghost in the room. We put a shirt there which took care of that problem. We got up to enjoy our complimentary breakfast only to see that it was snowing. Oh Man what a trip. All we could do was laugh. Good old West Yellowstone in March. Thank You for our FREE hotel room.
